The artist has donated the full amount of his £25k award winnings to the trust for venues, which operates to save the United Kingdom's independent concert spaces.
Fender was presented with the cheque on 16 October as his new release the album was named the top album of the previous year.
Fender has opted to hand the money over to the trust, in recognition of the vital role grassroots venues fulfilled in his early career.

Since the start of 2023, more than 150 of these locations have permanently closed – approximately 16 percent of the whole industry in the UK.
Recently, major artists like Pulp, Coldplay, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all aided the trust in its efforts to help venues survive, by adding a minor surcharge to their ticket prices, which benefits local stages.
Fender also joined in, raising more than £100,000 on his recent tour to help numerous small stages across Britain.
The money assisted venues that were confronting potential shutdown due to difficulties arising from flooding, blazes and personal losses, as well as permit problems, court cases and noise complaints.
